The Science Of Hadeeth

Due to seeing the needs of the brothers for this field and being asked to post benefits in this field Inshaa Allah this thread will be for benefits in regards to this field I Ask Allah that he makes it easy, that he makes this action sincerely for his sake, that he forgives my sins.

Some statements of Imam Muqbil May Allah have mercy on him in regards to this field: 

After mentioning many benefits regarding some narrations and other than it he said:

The knowledge of hadeeth which many of the people have abstained from and have become withdrawn from it, then if the scholar of fiqh was not a scholar of hadeeth then without a doubt he would stumble as Imam Ash Shawkaani mentioned in his book "Nayl Al Awtaar"

"Al Muqtarih Fi Ajwibat Ba'ad Asila Al Mustalah"

And he said in the same book:

And remains a matter which we clarified upon and it is the affair of the terminology for the researcher, and for he who wills that he benefits from the books of the Sunnah, because you will come across in some of the narrations the narration is (munkar) and in regards to some of the narrators (he is munkar in the hadeeth) or it will come across you in some of the narrations (Mu'adal) or Hadeeth (Munqati'a) or the hadeeth is (shaath) and other than that from the terms which you will come across and the best book it is "Mukhtasir Muqadimma Ibn As Salah" of Al Haafith Ibn Katheer it is possible to suffice with it, and if you will to increase then return to it's origin and it is the book "Al Muqadimmah" of Ibn Salaah and if you will to increase then return to its origins and it is "Al Kifaaya" and the book of Ar Ramahurmuzi "Al Muhadithul Faasil" other than that from the books....

He also said:

For indeed knowing the basics from the science is an important matter, for it may come across you and you are reading in Tafseer Ibn Katheer (The Hadeeth is Munkar) (Shath) (Ghareeb) (Mu'adal) (Munqatia) and if you were not to know the terminologies of the people then perhaps you wouldn't know what is the ruling upon this? 

So it is an important matter that you take from the science that which you would know with it the terms of the people, and it is as preceded a means and not the goal, so it doesn't mean that you waste your life all of it in the science (of hadeeth) and you don't know about Saheeh Al Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim, Sunan Abi Dawud, Jamiut Tirmithi, and other than it from the books of the Sunnah such as Musnad of Imam Ahmad you don't know from them anything.

Also Imam Ibn Al Wazeer Al Yamaani rahimahullah mentioned that the one desiring the knowledge of Hadeeth that he starts with reading the Science of Hadeeth look at (At Tanqeeh Ma At Tawdeeh 1 189/190)
